Working Into The Night

Last night I went out and bought spray to add the backing to the frames, thought it would look a little more professional. 

 

 

 

Bought some new paint last night also.  In love with this new color that I got.

Only 8 days left until I have to have them all finished.  Hope I can have at least 20 done by then.  I think I have about 12-15 picture frames in all.



Work In Progress

Here are some more frames that are a work in progress.  I start out with a picture frame that is in good condition, prime it and then paint it. 

As you can see, my work space is small so I can't get that many done at one time. These frames will need another coat of paint before they will be assembled.

I accidentally bought the wrong paint to use on wood.  DON'T BUY TEMPRA PAINT! So it is taking me longer to get these frames done because tempra paint is very watery and doesn't work so well on wood.  I had already opened the paint and started using it when I realized that it just didn't look right.

This one will be for sale when I get to my first craft fair.  Just need to add the finishing touches.
 

Getting Ready For My First Craft Show

I have started collecting my picture frames for my very first craft show.  I have 10 so far and would like to have at least 20, more would be great.  I started out just making these boards for myself and family and everyone told me I could sell them.  So here I go.....

Here is the first Menu board that I made for my house

This blue zebra print was the first one that I finished after making the decision to sell them.  Just need to add the clothes pins.

 

This is the first time that I had worked with chalkboard paint.  It was kind of fun.  Can't wait to sell it and see what people have to say.
